3. Hire Period

The standard hire period is typically 7 days. Extensions can be requested before the end of the initial hire period, subject to availability and additional charges. Failure to return the skip on time may result in extra fees.

4. Payment Terms

Payment for the skip hire is required at the time of booking. We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards and bank transfers. All prices are inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. Additional charges may apply for extended hire periods or excess waste disposal.

5. Responsibility of the Client

The Client is responsible for:

  • Ensuring that the hired skip is placed in a suitable location, not obstructing public walkways or private property without permission.
  • Avoiding the inclusion of hazardous, prohibited, or illegal items in the skip. Such items include asbestos, chemicals, electrical appliances, and batteries.
  • Ensuring that the skip is not used for illegal dumping or disposal of waste.
  • Providing accurate information about the type and volume of waste to be disposed of.

Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited from being disposed of in our skips:

  • Asbestos and asbestos-containing materials

6. Delivery and Collection

7. Waste Disposal

All waste disposed of in the skip must comply with local regulations and environmental standards. The Service Provider is not liable for any illegal disposal of waste by the Client. It is the responsibility of the Client to segregate recyclable materials and hazardous waste appropriately.

Recycling and Environmental Responsibility

We encourage recycling and proper waste management. The Service Provider makes every effort to recycle and dispose of waste responsibly. However, the Client must ensure that recyclable materials are sorted correctly before disposal.

8. Liability

The Service Provider is not liable for any damage to property or injury sustained during the delivery or collection of the skip, except where caused by negligence or willful misconduct. The Client agrees to indemnify the Service Provider against any claims arising from the misuse of the skip or non-compliance with these terms.

Insurance

It is recommended that the Client holds appropriate insurance coverage for the duration of the skip hire period. The Service Provider does not provide insurance for the contents of the skip.

9. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Bookings can be canceled free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled delivery. Cancellations made within 48 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 14 days of cancellation confirmation.

Rescheduling

If rescheduling is necessary, the Client should notify the Service Provider as soon as possible to arrange a new delivery date. Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in London.

11. Amendments
